Graduation Application Process

Students must apply to graduate to complete their degree.

Applying to Graduate

The application to graduate is available in DuckWeb through the student menu. Students can apply for graduation up to one year in advance of their graduating term and are encouraged to apply as soon as they've confirmed their graduation eligibility with their academic advisor.

Graduation Application Deadline

The deadline to apply for graduation in DuckWeb for the current term is Sunday at midnight after the fourth week of classes.

If you have missed the deadline for the current term's graduation application in DuckWeb, please complete the following actions:

1. Apply to graduate in DuckWeb for the next available term.
2. Use the Change to Graduation Application form to request to move your graduation application to the current term.

Pull or Cancel Application

If you have applied for graduation in a term that is sooner or later than when your requirements will be met, please complete the following actions:

1. Use the Change to Graduation Application form to request to pull/cancel your current graduation application from DuckWeb.
2. Once the request is processed, apply to graduate in DuckWeb for the term when you will have all requirements completed.

Your Name on the Diploma

When you apply for graduation, you will decide how your name will be displayed on your diploma.

Diploma names cannot include:

• appellations, such as: Sir, Doctor, or Sargent.
• parentheses, for example: Jonathan (John) Student.

If you need to change your name on your diploma, use the Change to Graduation Application form.
